!space is a hackerspace in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located near the Ekkamai station, Sukhumvit soi 42. Born in 2009, !space (pronounced "bangspace") aims at promoting technologies, helping people discover and play with it, share knowledge and help innovation through hands-on approach. !space connects Thai nationals, farangs (foreign visitors or residents) and people from all over the world. It participates in the global hackerspace movement (www.hackerspaces.org) which regroups more than 250 similar innovation labs worldwide.

Weekly labs on various innovative technologies (HTML5, Android development, electronics, ...) are organized, as well as periodic events.

!space is, as any hackerspace, open by nature and encourages anyone to come, discover, meet and share. It is linked to the origin of the word "hacking" which means 'innovative or original usage of technology' and is in no way associated with the bad or illegal usage of technology that some media describe as "hacking".
