Bangspace is no longer an active Hackerspace due to several reasons. However, there is a group working to setup a new Hackerspace in Bangkok.

This Chipin is to raise funds to buy a HD webcam for live streams of events from !space. I found out live streams are a great way to communicate what we do to potential member. The problem is that when "someone" brings his webcam along it takes too long to setup everything. a permanent solution would be good for !space.
The Logitech runs well under Ubuntu

Instead of 12 Mbit internet TOT can only offer 3 Mbit, according to TOT all connected to Ekkemai Node can get maximum of 3 Mbit. We got a contract with no minimum signup time so we can cancel any time. That also means we don't get a crap plastic box called DSL modem so we need to find our own hardware. Kirit offered a modem but it needs a new 5 Volt wall plug. Also 31o5 and Ben might have hardware to supply. There will be a connected LAN wall plug and the WIFI access point will be in the room for better connection and mangement. Internet should be available any day now.

Make Magazine got some nice videos about the basic electronic components. It's very easy to understand and quite entertaining. Typical slightly weird Make Magazine style. You will understand already a lot about electronic circuits after watching these videos.

Two images from our first electronics hacking session that wo have every wednesday.
