Instead of 12 Mbit internet TOT can only offer 3 Mbit, according to TOT all connected to Ekkemai Node can get maximum of 3 Mbit. We got a contract with no minimum signup time so we can cancel any time. That also means we don't get a crap plastic box called DSL modem so we need to find our own hardware. Kirit offered a modem but it needs a new 5 Volt wall plug. Also 31o5 and Ben might have hardware to supply. There will be a connected LAN wall plug and the WIFI access point will be in the room for better connection and mangement. Internet should be available any day now.

A 2nd hackerspace is about to open in Soi Tonglor. Wuttipong will start a second hackerspace more centered around computer security seminars in Soi Tonglor. He offered corporations and that !space member can use the Tonglor space once they got settled at a later stage. The opening event is on the 13th. There is a facebook event if you wanna check it out.

Barcamp Bangkok will be in Mai. We want to offer Arduino workshops and try to find sponsor for the hardware.

There is another opensource hardware groups that meets on the weekends. They have about 15-20 people at events and are interested to use !space. Obviously the size of our room is not big enough but we can still meet at another location.

We got a monitor and a notebook donated from @travelhappy. The notebook needs an Ubuntu installation.

Profit of Spacebar is now competely invested in stock, so the initial credit to buy drinks has been paid back (breakeven). Now we also got snacks and mama noodle soup besides beer, juice and softdrinks.

Decisions:
We decided to send email reminder to member who did not renew their membership for march. Some might just have forgotten it, we also ask them if there is something they like to see in !space that is missing for them. Number of paid member for march is down to 15.

We decided to allocate 3000 baht for better (more) lights in the room. Kirit will take care of it. We also want to check on prices for a ceiling fan for better air distribution and decide to vote on it during the month via mailing list.

Finance:
Paid 1094 Baht for electricity bill and 1605 for TOT Internet setup fee.

Next meeting will be on 30.03. cause of a public holiday on the following tuesday. Ben will be chair and 31o5 secretary.
